John Snyder

John Snyder

Chairman of ECHO and of the Nancy and John Snyder Foundation, Fort Worth, TX

John Snyder founded Snyder Oil Corporation in 1977 and served as Chairman and CEO until its merger in 1999 to form Santa Fe Snyder Corporation. He served as Chairman of Santa Fe Snyder until its merger in 2000 with Devon Energy. Since then he has focused his time and resources on non-profit endeavors oriented toward helping the poor and disadvantaged. John received his BS in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma in 1964 and his MBA from Harvard in 1968.

Tom Wilson

Tom Wilson

Tom joined ECHO’s leadership team as CEO in January 2012, bringing with him more than 40 years of leadership in Christian non-profit organizations. Most recently he served as CEO of OneHundred X, Halftime and Leadership Network, a Dallas-based organization that develops high-impact Christian leaders across the nation in the church and in the marketplace. While leading OneHundred X, Tom also served as a board member of ECHO. Prior to OneHundred X, Tom spent 31 years on staff with Young Life, where he retired as senior vice president of field operations for the central and southern division of the United States.  He has continued volunteer work with Young Life and served on other boards of directors, including Bridge2Rwanda. Tom and his wife Linda, who live in Fort Worth, have three adult children and five grandchildren.

Beverly Snyder

Retired TV Commentator and Author, Fort Worth, TX

Bev had an active career as a parenting expert, lecturer and author. For thirteen years, she hosted a TV show on parenting issues on the Dallas-Fort Worth NBC affiliate and for nine years answered call-in questions on national cable TV in a live one-hour format. She authored The Overloving Parent and co-authored, with her daughter, Diary of an Eating Disorder. In addition, she founded and served as Chairman of the Board of the Parenting Guidance Center which, after 35 years, continues to play a significant role in Fort Worth.

Todd Snyder

Owner of Windows with Sparkle and Flood Kings, Fort Worth, TX

Todd became a small business entrepreneur in 2006 when he started a window cleaning business for residential and small commercial structures. In 2008 he started a second business that provides emergency mitigation of interior damage from flooding, whether from natural causes or plumbing problems. He grew up in Fort Worth, Texas and now is contributing back to the community he loves.

Dudley, an MBA graduate of Michigan Business School, has spent the past 10 years in strategic management consulting in a variety of fields, with a special emphasis on segments of the international aviation industry.

Marcus Snyder

Investment Management, Fort Worth, TX

Marcus, a graduate of the Stanford Graduate School of Business, has focused his career on investment management. He currently works for a family office with a large and widely diversified portfolio.
